The title of this composition excursion is entitled "NOD 2 TODD" with respect to GURU TODD BARTON... a true BUCHLA EASEL (and beyond) teacher and electronic musician legend. Featuring TODD on (Japanese Flute) Shakuhachi (via Morphagene sampler) that is mutated beyond the original. A true Nod to Todd teachings, as well as DON BUCHLA & ALLEN STRANGE and of course BEBE & LOUIS BARRON of FORBIDDEN PLANET film fame. DISCLAIMER. the orig soundtrack is beyond imitation and this IMPROV NOISE FUN in no way attempts to grasp that masterwork or even approach the genius of BUCHLA teachings. In fact this is not even a traditional self evolving "Krell Patch" it is my own fun improv - fire up the machines and explore sonic fun. This video is a one take in the moment one overhead camera, no frills or trippy visual fx... pure improv. Hope you dig.
